Martinez Upholstery has been a family-owned business since the early months of 1993. Its original owner Alfonso Martinez sr. began the business with a vision in mind. His vision was to make furniture better than what you bought it for at your local furniture store. He wanted top quality to reach people’s homes with affordability. As time passed, he built a reputation for the business all over Los Angeles and surrounding counties. He reached his goal and his potential of giving people quality craftsmanship. As the years progressed and we start getting into the future and big box retailers like Wayfair, Amazon and Ikea. People’s mentality on furniture began to shift. That’s where Alfonso Martinez Jr. comes in 24 years later. In 2017 Alfonso Jr. joins the business with fresh new ideas. Helping his father grow the business he officially takes over in the late months of 2021. Martinez Upholstery still continues to run with the same values and ethics from its foundation. Customers could still rely on the quality of the work for a fraction of the price of luxury pieces. Here at Martinez Upholstery, we are also very passionate in calling ourselves modern day artists.
